Hi Wayne,

The first thing to look for is what you get if you upgrade your contributor account. For a one off fee (usually discounted if you buy during registration) you get extra benefits by upgrading. Sometimes one of those benefits is not having to promote the event, this is for people like yourselves with a small or non-existant list.

Not all giveaways will offer this with their upgrade though, so then you will have to look at other options like pay-per-click (which is what i used when i started out). If you want a cheaper option then you could try traffic exchanges although I don't use these so I'm not sure what kind of results you'd get. And of course there is Twitter, if you have a good follower base on there you can use that to promote the giveaway.

Cheers,
Carl.

We would like to contribute to these giveaways however we only have a very small list to promote too. We are Newbies but have all of the above ready to go. How do we avoid being deleted from the Giveaways for not promoting if we don't have alot of unique URLs responding?
Thanks

Hi Al,

Thanks for stopping by. I know what you mean about missing a few things first time around. I have gone over some of the stuff a second time, but there was so much content delivered that I just don't have time to go through it all!

Hi Carl
Very interesting post, will have to explore this more.
I am a student of Alex’s as well, and I have been going back over the course and found so many things I missed the first time, have you found that to? He said about visiting members blogs, something I have not done until now. Which is why I’m leaving you this post, just to say Hello and sorry if I haven’t visited you before.

Cheers
