These videos by Frank Kern are really worth watching (first one especially). It’s part of a re-launch for a product he took off the market a few years ago I believe. In the first video, we get an amusing look in to the life of Frank Kern, MTV cribs style. You can see he’s a really down to earth guy. About 10 minutes in he gets down to the nitty gritty, and he really drives home a lot of what we’ve been learning with Alex Jeffreys in our first few modules. I think it’s beneficial to get the process and principles that Alex Jeffreys has been teaching endorsed by another successful internet marketer.

The second video is by Frank’s cousin who has used this system to make his own successful business. There’s isn’t really much content in this one, he logs in to various merchant accounts to prove how much money he has made using Frank’s system and then asks you to opt-in for more video’s and to hear about the launch. So if you’re not interested in that, you could probably skip this one.

Hope you find them useful.

If you haven’t already checked this out I would seriously urge you to head over to Garry Parkes blog and take a look at this post. The more people we can get involved in this, the better it will be for everyone. I’m really looking forward to the first edition, hopefully launched next week ( I hear Tuesday is popular
).
There are new blogs by Alex Jeffreys students popping up all over the place now, I try to visit as many as I can but it’s becoming more and more difficult to keep up with everyone’s work. Hopefully, projects like this newsletter will help to keep everyone up to date with what everyone else is doing, and keep our community working together.
I was very impressed with a lot of the things Alex was saying in the brainstorming session and the fact that he is chatting with gurus like Rick Schefren, who it sounds like we’ll be hearing from soon, is absolutely amazing for us all.
Good times ahead!

Well I downloaded Nigel Yip’s eBook on making an animoto video and got started right away. His thorough report was easy to follow and I was able to get this first video attempt done and uploaded to YouTube in less than an hour!
So, thanks go to Nigel and here is the fruits of my labour:

Ok, so I made my first silly mistake this week (for this project anyway). After rebranding the list building report I renamed it to something a bit more user friendly and descriptive. Unfortunately I forgot to change the link on the thank you page to reflect this new name. Doh! So anyone who actually signed up for the free report would be getting a dead link instead. Not good.
When I tested the system at the weekend, I went through the whole process EXCEPT the final step of trying to actually download the free product. This is such a simple step I guess I just assumed that nothing could go wrong, totally forgetting that I’d changed the name of the eBook before uploading it.
So, lesson learned, test EVERYTHING, and then test it again.

I spent this weekend doing my homework like a good boy, instead of going to the pub to watch the footy (that’s soccer for the american readers) like I do most saturdays.
It did feel good to get it all up and running though, and I must say Alex made it look so simple and straight-forward I began to wonder why I’ve never been able to do it before! Although having a killer product to market does help I guess
I know Alex has been recommending Hostgator in his training videos, but I thought I’d mention another company that I use called Hostnine.
I heard about them from a training course that I bought from Steve Clayton and their reseller package is perfect for this kind of business where, hopefully as it grows, you will need more and more domain names. The reseller package basically lets you set up unlimited accounts for yourself, so you can use one account per domain/project. Their customer service is second to none, they have always got back to me within an hour of putting in a support ticket, and usually well under an hour. And you get all this for $20 a month which I think is cheaper than the Hostgater equivalent.
Anyway, I’m now off to start driving traffic to my squeeze page!
