I spent this weekend doing my homework like a good boy, instead of going to the pub to watch the footy (that’s soccer for the american readers) like I do most saturdays.
It did feel good to get it all up and running though, and I must say Alex made it look so simple and straight-forward I began to wonder why I’ve never been able to do it before! Although having a killer product to market does help I guess
I know Alex has been recommending Hostgator in his training videos, but I thought I’d mention another company that I use called Hostnine.
I heard about them from a training course that I bought from Steve Clayton and their reseller package is perfect for this kind of business where, hopefully as it grows, you will need more and more domain names. The reseller package basically lets you set up unlimited accounts for yourself, so you can use one account per domain/project. Their customer service is second to none, they have always got back to me within an hour of putting in a support ticket, and usually well under an hour. And you get all this for $20 a month which I think is cheaper than the Hostgater equivalent.
Anyway, I’m now off to start driving traffic to my squeeze page!

Wow, it seems that so many of the Alex Jeffreys students are pulling together to help each other out. There is a real community developing here. Great stuff!
I’m going to be surfing around my fellow students blogs and linking to as many as possible. If any of the students want me to link to their blogs, just make a comment to this post and I’ll get it done asap.
Good luck everyone!

Just a quick initial post..
Hi, Carl Barton here and I’ve just finished participating in the second webinar of Alex Jeffreys coaching course for newbie internet marketers. I am really excited about what I have heard so far and can’t wait to hear the 3rd webinar on Friday.
One of the things he mentioned was to try and get a blog up and running as soon as possible, so here it is!
I’ll be using this blog to tell you all about my progress in building my online business with Alex’s help, so hopefully it’ll turn up lots of useful information for my readers. I’ll also be writing about any other useful internet marketing tips and strategies I come across along the way.
So I hope you all enjoy!
